​Pizza Dough                    1 ea                           ​Roasted Corn Kernels                        .5 oz
​Pizza Sauce                                    1.5 fl oz​Grilled Japanese Eggplant, ¼" x 1" cut at an angle                                                  1.5 oz
​Mozzarella                                       3 oz​Blanched Baby Broccoli Florets, 2" - 3" sized                                                   2.5 oz
​Red Onions, 1/8" Rings                   1 oz​White Mushrooms, 1/16" thickness    1.5 oz
​Sun-Dried Tomatoes, ¼" Julienne  .4oz​Additional Mozzarella                         .5 oz


  1. Spread the sauce evenly to the base of the rim.

  2. Distribute the 3oz of mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. 
    NOTE: Do not top any part of the rim with cheese.
  3. Place all other ingredients evenly up to the base of the rim of the pizza.
  4. Drizzle additional mozzarella evenly over the top of ingredients laid.
  5. Preheat oven to 500°F. Place pizza in oven and cook for approx 5-10mins, or until mozarella on top turns brown.
  6. Remove from oven, slice, and serve!

NOTE: Do not pop bubbles that form. 

About the Chef

Sankar Salem who is from Malaysia has always wanted to be a chef since he was young. Prior to joining CPK, he has worked in a number of pizza restaurants where he has gained in-depth knowledge of making pizzas and dishing out Italian dishes. He joined CPK in 2000 as a shift leader. Subsequently he was promoted to Assistant Kitchen Manager and eventually to Kitchen Manager in 2019.

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) runs a creative space that offers an upscale and relaxed environment to dine and unwind. The 2,067 square feet restaurant seats approximately 95 guests and features an open bar and kitchen around the open-hearth pizza oven, where guests can watch their meals prepared fresh from scratch every day.
