"I am a neuro-radiographer – I play an important part in helping patients whose lives are threatened by neurological conditions such as brain tumour, acute stroke or ruptured aneurysms.  The images that I produce are used to support and guide direct interventional treatments, procedures and therapies for patients.

We work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to find the best way to execute a procedure, and to ensure that our patients have access to the best possible care in the right setting.

While we are equipped with the knowledge and skills, sometimes, approaching our patients with compassion may be the best medicine to our patients. Being able to support our patients and their family members at a very difficult time is one of the best parts of my job."
