Stroke survivor Janelle Yeo from Singapore National Stroke Association (SNSA) opened up about her experience, treatment and recovery.
A/Prof Deidre Anne De Silva, Head & Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology (SGH Campus) reminded that stroke can occur at any age, although it is more common among the elderly. She explained that it is still possible for stroke survivors to lead fulfilling and productive lives, and reinforced importance of getting to the hospital fast.
