"Life as a medical social worker can be unpredictable and full of surprises.  I was once called back at 3am on a weekend to provide support to a family who had just suffered a tragic loss of their child.  As I help my patients'  families to overcome their sadness, I feel humbled to be able to journey with them.

I am also involved in community projects that reach out to young patients and children of patients who are less privileged.  Seeing the smiles on their faces show that the little things we do can make an impact on their lives."
