"Nursing is a calling that is measured in moments and not years. Moments become memories to cherish.  It gives me a great sense of accomplishment when I see my patients recover.  Once, I had a patient who asked if she could hug me before going home. At that moment, I realised that we often leave an impact on our patients – big or small – without realising it.

No matter how jaded we may feel sometimes, we should still give our best to every patient we care for.  I believe we should stay positive, keep our spirits high and embrace the challenges ahead."
