The goals of the trip were Community Health Improvement, Empowerment and Investment. The Global Health Team consisted of Family Physicians, Nurses, Residents and coordinators Beth and Dr Raquel.
The Global Health Team from FM ACP and SHP
The Team provided training to the local healthcare providers and community leaders and supported the Rural Health Unit (RHU) nurses in their consultations and held clinic sessions at New Canipo. Following this, the participants’ feedback was sought and useful training topics were highlighted for subsequent teams to deliver to upskill the community.
