"My primary role is to review and interpret various imaging modalities, with some days being involved in imaging-guided interventions. I also fill my day by checking studies with my trainees.
To me, radiology is ever evolving, especially with the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which is likely to redefine the role of a radiologist. Radiology is also ever present, being a vital part of a patient's journey, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up. It is never dull.
The most rewarding part of my job is to pick up incidental, yet clinically significant findings. These 'early' detections could potentially be life-saving."
