The awards are presented by the Charity Council, established under the Ministry for Culture, Community and Youth, and recognises charities for their efforts in upholding governance and building public trust in the sector.
SHF was awarded the distinguished Charity Transparency Award, which recognises charities that have adopted outstanding transparency and disclosure practices, as well as the Special Commendation Award for Succession Planning.
The awards reflect SHF’s support of SingHealth’s vision to define tomorrow’s medicine and its commitment to responsible fund management and transparent practices.
Prof Tan Ser Kiat, Chairman of SHF, thanked donors, supporters and staff of SHF, saying, “This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to ensuring transparency and governance because our donors deserve the highest level of accountability and trust our management of the Fund.
