Frequent practicing of speech out loud can help a person with Parkinson's disease or have suffered a stroke to improve speech capabitlity.

​These speech exercises are to be done 1 to 2 times a day.

Say "Ah" with a loud voice for as long as you can

​Do this 10 times

Count 1 to 10 in a loud voice

Do this 10 times

​Sing a scale from a low to high pitch
(do rei mi fa so la ti do)

​Do this 10 times

​Sing a scale from a high to low pitch
(do ti la so fa me rei do)

​Do this 10 times

​Read aloud a list of phrases or sentences that
you frequently use

​Read through this list of items 5 times
