13 April 2020 - A 36-year-old Singaporean woman who survived H1N1 in 2009 shared about her experience after she was tested positive for COVID-19 on 13 March. Ms Ustazah Nadia Hanim, who was warded at CGH, recounted how she started feeling unwell on the evening of 11 Mar, three days after returning from a work trip to Jakarta.
She shared her deep appreciation for the CGH care team, and took the effort to memorise all 35 names of the healthcare workers she had met during her admission at CGH. She shared that the medical team greeted her cheerfully despite looking tired, and never made her feel uncomfortable or awkward for being a positive COVID-19 patient.
