Prior to the pandemic, some patients and their families were already trying hard to make ends meet. But now due to the economic consequences of this pandemic, the situation has worsened as people have lost their jobs or suffered a cut in their salary.

We are heartened that many of our staff came forward to contribute in their own ways to help ease the burden of needy heart patients, on top of providing treatment and care to these patients. As frontline workers in healthcare, we experience first-hand the impact this pandemic has on us. Despite facing the challenges ourselves, we have not forgotten the woes faced by our needy patients. The number of staff who came forward by supporting Heart To Heart Fund has risen by threefold in the past year.
 

 
The NHCS Heart To Heart Fund’s 10th year anniversary fundraising campaign - ‘Celebrating 10 Years of Giving Hope’ which ended on 31 March 2021. It is really comforting to know that we have raised more than $20,000 for our needy heart patients! This amazing feat was made possible by our staff together with members of the public.
