"I love nuclear medicine because it is very fascinating and unique to be able to use radioactive materials to diagnose and treat people.  Nuclear medicine is an exciting specialty with a multitude of possibilities.  Using gamma cameras and PET imaging, we can look at the function, perfusion and viability of the heart amongst other things. 

It allows us to see the normal and disease processes in the body which are not visible to the naked eye. I love working with a great team of people who are doing their best every day for the patients."
