“As an audiologist, I guide my patients through their rehabilitation journey, which starts from the diagnosis of a hearing problem, to counselling and fitting hearing devices.   I find joy in witnessing my patients’ progress through the whole process.

Aside from clinical work, I am also involved in the patient support group.   Together with our auditory-verbal therapists, we organise regular support group meetings to bring together families of hearing-impaired individuals so that they can share common experiences and support others who are facing similar hearing issues.

Our patients are like our family.   We hold annual parties for them and celebrate the recovery they have made throughout the year.   Being able to build long-term relationships with our patients is the most fulfilling part of my job.”
