We thank the Committee of Inquiry (COI) for its thorough investigation.
Our primary obligation is to our patients. We have always taken this commitment to our patients seriously and will do all we can to protect their data.
Since the incident, we have reinforced the culture of personal ownership of cyber defence, so that every staff is empowered to identify and report cybersecurity threats. Regular broadcasts on cybersecurity threats to educate, and phishing exercises to test and heighten awareness will continue, in addition to table top exercises to test response to cyber threats.
In the coming months, our priority will be to work closely with the Ministry of Health, Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS) and industry experts to proactively implement the recommendations in the
COI report to strengthen our cybersecurity defence.
