SingHealth Polyclinics Opens New Punggol Polyclinic at Oasis Terraces
Punggol Polyclinic, the latest addition to SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) network of polyclinics, will open its doors to the residents in Punggol on 24 November 2017. The Polyclinic which spans across four levels is housed in the new HDB commercial development - Oasis Terraces located next to Oasis LRT at 681 Punggol Drive. The Polyclinic is also connected to the Oasis LRT via a sheltered link bridge.
2. The Punggol polyclinic offers comprehensive and holistic healthcare services for the entire family. The key services include outpatient medical care and treatment for chronic and acute conditions, women health services such as screening for cervical and breast cancer, child health services, immunisation and development assessment.
3. Beyond the services provided by a typical polyclinic, Punggol residents will also have access to x-ray, physiotherapy and podiatry services; offering patients accessible and convenient one-stop location for their various medical needs. The new Polyclinic is designed to be conducive and age-friendly with features such as lifts and low ramps for wheelchair access.
4. As a primary care hub under the SingHealth Regional Health System, Punggol Polyclinic will be working closely with the upcoming Sengkang General and Community Hospitals, General Practitioners (GP) clinics and other community service providers to provide seamless and coordinated care for the residents.
5. Patients are strongly encouraged to make an appointment via SHP Central Appointment at 6643 6969 (during clinic operating hours) before visiting the Polyclinic so as to reduce the waiting time in the clinic. Patients are required to obtain a queue ticket at the Self-Service Kiosk located at level 3 and register at the counter for their first visit.
