In 2010, the SingHealth Board of Directors and Duke-NUS Governing Board endorsed the partnership in Academic Medicine, paving the way for a shared pursuit to innovate care so that patients’ lives can be improved.

Yesterday, 29 May, the two institutions affirmed their shared commitment by formalising the framework which both organisations can build on to accelerate the Academic Medicine transformation journey.

Singhealth Group CEO Professor Ivy Ng and Duke-NUS Dean Professor Ranga Krishnan signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Joint Board Retreat at Academia, witnessed by Mr Peter Seah (Chairman of SingHealth Board of Directors) and Mr Kai Nargolwala (Chairman of Duke-NUS Governing Board).

The MOU marks the maturing of the partnership with its many achievements in just the past four years to bring better care to patients.
