Refreshed Marine Parade Polyclinic Will Re-open On 22 February 2016
Singapore, 18 February 2016 – Marine Parade Polyclinic will re-open its doors to residents at its original location (Blk 80 Marine Parade Central #01-792 Singapore 440080) on Monday, 22 February 2016. The polyclinic was closed in mid-May 2015 for upgrading to improve its facilities and services to better cater to the healthcare needs of the community.
The refreshed Marine Parade Polyclinic has been doubled in size from a single storey polyclinic to a two storey polyclinic, allowing for an increase in registration counters, consultation rooms and a larger laboratory. With the more spacious facilities, it will also provide new services such as x-ray services. The expanded polyclinic has also been designed with the seniors in mind, with age-friendly design features such as lifts, low counters and ramps for wheelchair access.
Residents and patients should take note that the existing shuttle bus service plying between Marine Parade Polyclinic and Geylang Polyclinic will cease on Saturday, 20 February 2016. The last bus will depart from Geylang Polyclinic at 1.30pm.
