"One of my patients kept hearing a ringing sound in her ear. Based on my initial assessment, I suspected that she had arteriovenous fistula (AVF) - an abnormal connection between an artery and a vein.  My team and I conducted multiple investigations, and we deduced that it was caused by an acupuncture therapy session that she had before coming to us.

I am fascinated by what science and medicine have to offer, my role is akin to a detective, trying to determine the cause and effect of an illness. When my patient shows improvement and you realised that you have made an impact, all the hard work is worth it."
