​The National Neuroscience Institute-Singapore General Hospital stroke team has rolled out ‘Stroke Buddy’, a one-stop portal that provides personalised advice, helping stroke survivors regain their independence and quality of life. The app, was launched at the 18th Singapore International Stroke Conference. Assoc Prof Deidre Anne De Silva, Head and Senior Consultant, Neurology, NNI@SGH Campus explained they wanted to find a way to connect with stroke patients, ensure they could continue with their rehabilitation and access advice in the safety of their homes, both during a COVID-19 outbreak and beyond.
