From 10 March 2023, the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) will fully operate from its new premises on the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Campus. Operations in the new NCCS building progressively started from December 2022.
The new 24-storey NCCS building has increased capacity and expanded facilities dedicated to cancer care, rehabilitation, research and education to meet the growing needs of our patients and the community. The building is located close to Outram Road, next to public transport nodes, improving accessibility for patients and visitors.
With the move, NCCS will continue to serve its role as the national specialty centre for oncology to meet the cancer care needs of the nation. Designed with a patient-centric approach, the new NCCS has increased clinic space for multi-disciplinary cancer care and larger capacity to improve patient flow and experience. It also offers patients access to proven, advanced treatments such as proton therapy at the Goh Cheng Liang Proton Therapy Centre. Strategic partners such as the Singapore Cancer Society are co-located in the same premises to collaborate to improve survivorship and long-term quality of life for people affected by cancer.
