Many forms of subsidies are available but not all patients are aware. By taking time to explain, we help patients to better understand their options.

When explaining the interim bill size to patients, I also advise my team to alert patients about large bills and consider alternatives to avoid depletion of Medisave or transfer to another ward type which would allow greater subsidies.

We do what we can to help and to give our patients the flexibility and grace period they need.”
