The Sing50 Foundation invited Dick Lee, a well-known local musician who won the 2005 Cultural Prize, to hold a concert at The Star Theatre on August 19th.

The concert will present Mr Lee in 4 different phases. He released his first solo album "Life Story" in 1974 and entered the Japanese market with "The Mad Chinaman". He also worked with many of Hong Kong's heavenly kings and queens such as, Lin Yi Lian and Zhang Xue You.

He also participated in several stage musicals such as "Beauty World". In the later period, he created several songs representing Singapore for example, "Home" and "Our Singapore".

In addition, Mr Lee also attended the opening ceremony of The VisionSave Campaign held by Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) and Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) yesterday.

Mr Lee is the VisionSave Campaign Ambassador and shared about how he was diagnosed with severe rhegmatogenous retinal detachment which almost lost him his right eye vision during his 21st birthday.
