"As a respiratory therapist, I assess and administer breathing treatments to patients who require the assistance of a life support machine to breathe.

I had a lot of memorable moments in my first year in the job.  During one of my ward rounds, I encountered a patient who collapsed and fell unconscious.  In that moment, being inexperienced at my job, I felt ill-prepared.  It struck me that what knowledge I have learned so far was not enough to handle such a situation.  This thought has since been my drive in my mission to never stop learning so that I can be better and better at providing care."
