1 January 2021 - A syringe stopper being used in the emergency departments of hospitals in Singapore started life as a student project in 2017. The development of the device, known as Syringe Brake, follows a collaboration between CGH and Singapore University of Technology and Design. The device underwent trials in CGH and other hospitals in 2018, and was finally brought to market by CGH the next year.
