​When the National Heart Centre Singapore opens for business on Monday, it will be able to serve twice as many patients as before. The centre is moving from its premises in a wing of the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) to a new $266 million building next to the National Cancer Centre Singapore, also on the SGH campus. The 12-storey building will have 38 outpatient clinic rooms, doubling its capacity to 1,000 patient visits a day, or 200,000 a year.
