“I belong to the pioneer intake of the Geriatric Special Care Dentistry Clinic (GSDC), so I wish to set a good example for my juniors by displaying professionalism and sharing my job passion. Then they can learn how to care for this unique group of patients. The main challenge I face is caring for patients with different needs, for example the elderly with dementia, the wheelchair and bed bound and special needs patients. Besides learning how to communicate with them, I also need to constantly watch out for patients who are at risk of falls.”
