HFMD is endemic in Singapore. Local and international authorities are monitoring the clusters of HFMD outbreaks and updating their recommendations on a regular basis.
MOH Singapore is monitoring the transmission of HFMD in kindergartens and childcare centres. They will continuously provide timely health advisories and recommendations for parents to help prevent potential widespread spreading of HFMD infection.
WHO provides regular updates on the HFMD situation, taking a global view to direct and coordinate a global response against the spread of the highly infectious HFMD.
