Swallowing exercises ​can help Parkinson's disease patients strengthen the back of their tongue and throat muscles to prevent food left in the throat after swallowing.

​How to do the effortful swallow exercise

Objective

To strengthen the back of the tongue and throat muscles to reduce food left in the throat after swallowing.

Instructions

1. Swallow saliva as hard as you can.

2. Push your tongue towards the roof of the mouth when swallowing.

3. Do this ____ times.

大力吞咽

用途
有助于强化喉部的肌肉,以便减少吞咽后喉道里的残余物。

指示
1. 尽全力吞口水。

2. 吞咽同时,把舌头推向口腔的顶部。

3. 重复做 ____  次。
