Baby development milestones: 6 months old
- Your baby is able to raise his head to look at his feet and lift the legs up to grasp his foot.
- When your baby's hands are held, your baby pulls to sit himself or herself with the head erect. Your baby may be able to sit alone momentarily. When held in a sitting position, your baby's head is erect, back straight and turns his or her head from side to side to look around.
- When placed on the tummy, your baby supports himself or herself using straightened arms and palms.
- When held standing, your baby no longer sags at the knee and will bounce up and down actively.
