Sambal Prawns - Shared by Peng Yen Hoo
Ingredients
500g prawns (deshelled) | 200ml water |
Long beans (cut) | 50ml assam water |
1 big yellow onion (thinly sliced) | 3tbsp of oil |
1 pkt Asyura Sambal Tumis paste | |
Steps
1) Heat oil and stirfry onion till semi transparent
2) Add sambal paste and stir until fragrant
3) Add water and mix well
4) Add long beans, stir, lower the fire, cover and simmer until half-cooked
5) Add prawns, stir and cover till beans are fully-cooked
6) Turn off the fire, pour in the assam water and mix well
The Sambal Prawns are ready to serve!
