Hummus

This recipe serves 4.

Ingredients

Chick Peas - 250g

​Salt - 1 tsp

​Tahini Sauce - 100g

​White Pepper - 1 tsp

​Yoghurt (optional to make dish vegan) - 1 tblsp

​Lemon Juice - 1 tblsp OR Lemon Salt - 1tsp

​Crushed Ice - 100g

Steps

1. Put all the ingredients into a food processor orblender

2. Blend the ingredients for 7 - 10 minutes until it is creamy

3. Scoop the Hummus onto a plate

4. Drizzle olive oil and serve with pita bread

5. For gluten-free option, serve with carrots and celery sticks

Middle-Eastern Executive Chef, Hany Moustafa Basyouni Gabr, has been preparing Middle-Eastern cuisine for the last 26 years.
