Speaker Profile

Associate Professor Lai Siang Hui is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Anatomical Pathology at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He is also the Chair of the Centralised Institutional Review Board of SingHealth and Vice-Chair (Education) of the Pathology Academic Clinical Programme in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. Besides usual work commitments, A/Prof Lai finds time for other professional and social activities, including being the Editor of Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare academic journal. Prior to joining SGH, A/Prof Lai was Consultant Forensic Pathologist at the Health Sciences Authority, Singapore, where he was Head (Research) and later Head (Training & Education).
