Dr Rukshini Puvanendran is a Senior Consultant and Clinical Associate Professor in KKH Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests are in Midlife Women’s Health including Menopause and Osteoporosis. She also has an interest in Chronic Disease Management and Weight Optimization, especially in women keen to conceive and women with polycystic ovarian syndrome. In addition to clinical work, she is also passionate about education of residents and medical student and is core faculty in Duke-NUS Medical School and clinician faculty for Singhealth Family Medicine Residency. She serves as an examiner for doctors sitting for Masters of Medicine and well as Graduate Diploma examinations.
She has been the recipient of many awards including Singapore Health Quality Service Awards, Service from the Heart Awards, Singhealth Long Service Award and Faculty Appreciation Awards.
She also served on several committees, both at Hospital and National Level and has an interest in Patient Safety and Healthcare Improvement.
