10 May 2020 - The three public healthcare clusters are helping homes for the elderly to train their staff and carry out swab tests. MOH had said on Friday that all 30,000 residents and staff of residential care homes will be tested for COVID-19. Under the SingHealth cluster, 16 doctors and nurses from SGH, CGH, SKGH and SHP have trained 100 staff from 22 nursing homes to take swab and handle samples. Prof Lee Chien Earn, SingHealth Deputy Group CEO (Regional Health System) said that 2,230 staff from 16 nursing homes had been swabbed.
