​Zuo Wei, Principal Enrolled Nurse, SKH received the Merit Award at the 18th Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award ceremony on 21 November 2024, graced by First Lady Mrs. Jane Itoggi as Guest of Honour. With 16 years of experience, Zuo Wei is dedicated to mentoring junior nurses and providing holistic support to patients and their families. She reflected on how a caregiver’s heartfelt gratitude reaffirmed her belief that nursing extends beyond patient care to providing emotional support. The Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award, established in 2006, is supported by the D.S. Lee Foundation and Tan Chin Tuan Foundation. Organised by the Singapore Nurses Association, the event recognised 12 outstanding enrolled nurses for their contributions to healthcare and the community.
